Matthew 25:23 A Legacy of Love and Gratitude With hearts full of love and gratitude, we celebrate the life of Larry Michael Davis—a devoted man of faith, a treasured presence in the lives of his family and friends, and a source of kindness, strength, and encouragement to all who knew him. Although his absence leaves a space that cannot be filled, the love he shared, the laughter he inspired, and the example he set will remain forever woven into the hearts of those he touched. Life Celebration Mr. Larry Michael Davis was born on June 6, 1949, the loving son of the late Rozier and Gertrude Sessoms Davis, who instilled in him the values of faith, hard work, and family. He grew up with a deep love for his family, fishing, and the wilderness. He was drafted into the United States Army in June 1970 and stationed at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. He was very proud of serving in the Army and was stationed in England, France, and Germany. He was known throughout his life as a man of integrity and warmth. From an early age, Larry showed a gift for bringing people together, a quality that would define his legacy for decades to come. Throughout his life, Larry dedicated himself to the things that mattered most: his faith, his family, and his friends. He was a faithful member of American Legion, Post 53, and Williams Chapel in Front Royal, Virginia, where his steady presence and willingness to serve were gifts to all who knew him. Whether lending a hand to a neighbor, mentoring a young man in need, or simply offering a steady word of encouragement, Larry's generosity knew no bounds. Larry Michael Davis lived 77 years of a well lived life. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Beverly T. Seegars, and is survived by a son, Larry Michael Walker (Betsy), nieces, nephews, cousins and many close friends, along with a legacy of love, laughter, and steadfast faith. Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort knowing that he rests now in the arms of his Savior, his race beautifully run, his work faithfully done. Family Remembrance To his family, Larry was more than the stories of a life well lived—he was a steady source of love, wisdom, laughter, and strength. His faith taught us to trust, his generosity taught us to serve, and his example taught us to love one another deeply. Though his absence leaves a space that cannot be filled, the love he shared, the laughter he inspired, and the example he set will remain forever woven into our hearts.
