Ms. Tina Louise Wesley

December 23, 1960, an amazing woman blessed the earth with her beautiful presence. Birthed in Alexandria, Virginia to the late Mary Jane Wesley and Paul Wesley Sr., Tina departed life and gained her wings on May 4, 2025, in Alexandria, Virginia. Tina was born and raised in Alexandria, Virginia where she attended Alexandria Public Schools. Tina’s stomping grounds were the Projects, and she spent majority of her adult life in Springfield, Lorton and on Richmond Highway. Tina loved Alexandria and refused to ever leave; she enjoyed the convenience of the suburban life. She drove her husband, Fred crazy with love, laughter and a headache. Tina had an immeasurable and unconditional love for her family and friends but most importantly for her children and grandchildren. Whenever you saw Tina, you saw her children and once her children had children, her grandchildren were always in her house, either sneaking her candy, following her to her room or dancing alongside her while she played her music. Tina was such a loving woman, she had a huge heart for giving and loved deeply, so much so she adopted so many friends of her kids who not only called her mom but respected her to that degree and loved her just as if she was their own mother. She was a God-fearing woman who taught her children to pray in the shower (her quiet space with God). Her favorite saying was “faith, faith, faith, believe, believe, believe” and she stood by those words until her final day. Tina’s oldest sister, Brenda and her children’s aunt and grandmother, Claudette and Lillie Belle assisted in her accepting Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior in her home in Alexandria, Virginia and while in the hospital. Tina absolutely loved listening to oldies and dancing on her kitchen floor with her socks on so she could slide around. She loved getting bushels of crabs and having cookouts with her family where she would never eat because her joy came from seeing everyone together laughing and having a good ol’ time. Tina was a feisty woman to be so small and was given the nickname Chunky when she was younger. This wasn’t her only name; she also went by Christine but only when she would pretend to be her very own twin sister trying to get back into the club she would so often get kicked out of, and it worked every time. She will so very deeply be missed and loved by all that knew her. Her mother Mary Jane Wesley and father Paul Wesley Sr. Her brother Napolean and Dennis, Aunts Ida, Louise, Linda, Minnie and Shirley and Uncles Joe, Jimmy, Frank, Donald, Sherman and Willie Starr and Buck Oliver preceded her in death. She leaves behind her sisters; Brenda Clark, Laverne Johnson, Sylvia Wilson (Chester), brothers; Paul Wesley, Roger Wesley (Faye) and Calvin Wesley, aunt; Cora-Lee Frye (Danny), Uncles; Larry Starr and Carl Starr, husband; Fred Brandon, daughter; Felicia Wesley, son; Caesar Wesley, grandchildren; Cameron Wesley, Shyheim-Jeziah, Santanna, Serenity and SaKaris Jenkins plus a host of family and friends.
