Ms. Juanita Viola Williams

Juanita Viola Williams, a devoted Christian, loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, friend and all-around beautiful spirit, has received her heavenly wings. Juanita was born on June 4, 1946, in Alexandria Virginia to the late Bertie Williams and Eliza Elizabeth Washington. She was peacefully called home from this life on September 23, 2024 at the Annandale Healthcare Facility in Annandale Virginia. Juanita dedicated her life ot Christ and joined St. John Baptist Church of Alexandria prior ot becoming Homebound. Her faith was steadfast and she believed that we are al God's creations, and although we may fall, we must get back up and ALWAYS keep GOD first. She assisted with the culinary committee and thoroughly enjoyed the preaching and teaching from Pastor Charles Hall. She appreciated and had a special love for her S.t John Baptist Church of Alexandria Family. Juanita was the fourth oldest child of eleven children. She attended City of Alexandria Public Schools in Alexandria Virginia. She was a great cook for many years at the S & W Cafeteria of LandMark. She then changed her career to maid service at Value Inn Motel, where she worked for over 40 years. Juanita then decided to go back to her love for cooking and baking at Giant Food Store where she retired. Juanita will truly be missed and leaves to cherish her one and only son Germaine Shaun Williams, Her daughter in law Latoya, five grandchildren Jordan, Germaine Jr., Janay, Janise and Jakobe. Her three sisters Marilyn Williams, Breanda Armstrong and Carolyn Harris. Her three brothers Eddie Harris(Tanya), Freddie Harris(Linda) and George Washington(Doris). She is preceded in death with her sister Darlene Washington and two brothers Raymond Sr. and Johnny Williams. Juanita's heart was pure gold. She was a friend to the friendless and greeted all with a smile and a hug. She was known for her generosity and kindness, she never hesitated to offer a compliment to a stranger and adored Al Green. She was a pillar of strength to her family, offering support, love and an open door to anyone in need. She enjoyed reading, dancing, and spending time with her family and friends.
